HP Reverb G2 FO4VR Key Bindings

Hey guys,

I just got my new HP Reverb G2 and I'd really like to play Fallout 4 VR but the default key bindings are a nightmare. I know that it's the VIVE controls but it just doesn't work especially in workshop mode.

I've tried to change the key binding via the STEAMVR overlay and chose the one that malcolmsparks provided for the community but its still just as difficult and idk if it actually stuck.

I read about a mod (The Contrast Adaptive Sharpening tool) that can change the default to Oculus rift controls but I couldn't find steps on installation and manual downloads are still really confusing for me...

I just need a solution that will make the key bindings simple and easy, and that'll make the workshop be easier to access and work in.

I'm an Xbox person transitioning to PC/VR games so I'm kinda clueless. Any helpful input would really be appreciated.

simply extract all files from 'The Contrast Adaptive Sharpening tool' into your Fallout 4 VR folder and let them overwrite openvr_api.dll

Then choose community bindings in Steam VR application settings while in game (don't remember the name, but it's the most popular bindings for G2 with the most hours played) then quit game, quit Steam VR and restart Windows MIxed Reality for Steam VR. Then launch the game and new bindings should work.

By the way I would highly recommend trying out the Wabbajack modlist - Fallout VR Essentials Overhaul, it's free, pretty easy to install and with it the game will run much much better than vanilla.

I've tried everything you said to do and I still can't scrap anything. The A button doesn't work for scrapping even after using the key bindings from steam vr by Malcolmsparks...

Can you think of anything I'm doing wrong.
