F4SE for F4 VR
So, the author of F4SE has no plans to release a version for VR (http://f4se.silverlock.org/)
Has anyone found a way to get it working anyway?

Hmm, does this guy not have VR? Maybe we need a crowd funding project to buy him a vive so we can get some lovely script extending goodness going on. I was kinda hoping to be able to work up some kind of 2 handed weapon hack using openVR, but I'd need a way of connecting into the game to check for weapon type, position and such.

With VorpX you can use the F4SE, normal Fallout 4 including all mods. Still runs better than the VR version. And you have arms. And scopes. >.>

If you got him to agree to it that might be doable on gofundme. Unless he needs a beefier computer too...

Most of the Script Extender team members are VERY WELL PAID in their career fields; they do not need/nor want the money. Thus, most of the members have careers and have limited time to work on script extenders. It took almost a year for Skyrim Special Edition to get an alpha script extender; I do not see them making a script extender for our small community.
As a team we cannot accept donations. We work in the software industry, and Ian in particular works for a game company. Plus we do this for the mods that it helps enable.

What they have done is ask the community to help with the extenders; yes you can join their team (you also have to sign a NDA contract with Bethesda; so it's serious stuff). But, what they do requires a very high level of technical knowledge; very few people actually have this talent. Thus, that's why their team is still a small group of hobbyists and it takes time.

If you do have the knwoledge, please join their group.

No way man. I don't care if I can see my arms. In VR, I use my actual arms! You can't replicate that in VorpX. But I hope they are working on that!
