Weather effects only in left eye?
Anyone else getting this? Rain drop effects are only visible in the left eye output, same with stars in the night sky..

I never really noticed - but maybe that's why it rains indoors for me...

I've had the stars only appear in one eye, I restarted and it fixed it.

Thats used to be a graphical setting, Rain occulision? Probably spelt that wrong. Not sure if its enabled, or what the ini setting for it is called.

But yeah in terms of the one eye thing, not sure^

Well it only rained a little bit indoors like it was only half of outdoors - hence why I thought it might be showing in one eye.

Never actually bothered to look into it though lol.

I can confirm that i only see rain in my right eye, this is very annoying now that i noticed it

Confirmed i am having right eye only rain. I honestly noticed this after i INSTALLED and UNINSTALLED True Storms hoping it would work in VR. Previously had Vivid Storms installed which worked for the most part in 270 degrees of view. in the other 90 it would be only in one eye. SO i tried true storm; worse, it was always only in one eye no matter which way you look.

after uninstalling true storms and having no weather mod installed i find my rain is now one eye only. I wonder if i just let it play out if next time it rains it will be two eye or if ALL ALONG it was only one eye and i never noticed until i had fux with mods.

Maybe an uninstall? I will see if the next storm is two eye and if it is one eye I will reinstall. if any of the above fix the issue I will edit this post.

EDIT:

Sure enough my suspicion was correct. The next time a storm rolled through my rain was BOTH EYE. So for me it seemed mod related. i wish i knew more about why exactly this was happening because i would love to get the mods working.

EDIT EDIT:

FALSE. just now experienced the 270 degree scenario described above while on vanilla rain. I am now completely dumbfounded. perhaps the mods really don't have anything wrong with them and it is a glitch in the game. I have not reinstalled for final confirmation.

EDIT EDIT EDIT:

i just re installed true storms and was surprised that i could get it running both eyes. it seems the problems isn't the mod but the game maybe????? so when i booted the rain was actually working great. but idk something happened and it went single eye again? i went inside through a loading screen and then came back outside through a loading screen and the rain played on both eyes 360 degrees. STILL TOTALLY DUMBFOUNDED BY WHAT MAY BE CAUSING THIS.

have had no problem with the stars though. having my settings as i replyed to wizoz below.

FOR ME going to performance tab under vive settings and CHECKING allow asynchronous Reprojection and UNCHECKING Allow interleaved reprojection and then give her a restart and stars were fixed perm.

also doing this will yield a more solid and stable looking experience I would say.

ALL SHOULD DO THIS SPREAD THE WORD
