Navigating menu and pip boy not working? (Mixed Reality)

When I first got the game, the touchpad was working fine on the pip boy and the menu. I was able to easily scroll through my stuff and select what I needed; weapons, armor, miscs etc.

But now it seems the touchpad isn't responding to the menu or pip boy, despite the touchpad working fine. I couldn't find anything helpful online and there doesn't seem to be an option that can help me. I'm able to do pretty much anything else except equiping armor, looting and using terminals.

Please can anyone explain why this is happening?

Things have been rearranged on the WMR controllers. The left trigger now opens the pipboy. There are on screen guides to help you find things. However, I can't figure out how to crouch using the new controls.

The game supports the thumbsticks now and as a result the control layout changed. If the thumbsticks don't work, opt out of the SteamVR beta.

@nickelfloor crouch is right thumbstick down.

Ah I see, I've had the thumbstick enabled for every game, using the notepad. Disabling them has fixed my issue. Thank you Hazard!

Could you elaborate what you did to solve the problem? I can't navigate the pipboy menu, the pad won't work using the pipboy and the thumbstick only selects de options inside status. I tried different bindings but none works.

Normally what I did was I went into my default.vrsettings notepad, which you can find by going
steamapps\common\MixedRealityVRDriver\resources\settings
and then changing "thumbstickControlsEnabled" from false to true. Now that the game was patched, I have to set this setting to false when playing Fallout 4 VR. I hope this fixes your issue Fredidenker

Thanks a lot for taking the time to answer! I really appreciate it. I found the file and edited the line to true, but regreatfully it didn't solve the issue, the thumbstick stopped working but I couldn't use the pad to navigate the pipboy options. It's a shame, such a great game but I can't play it, I just can't believe that this problem persists after so long. Thanks anyway for the explanation.

Any update on this issue? I still can't navigate Pip Boy menus. Odyssey WMR. SteamVR 1.9.16.

Found a fix. Change Settings/VR/Pip-Boy Location change from Wrist to Projected, then the controls work.

Yes, I have just found it testing. Does anyone have a mapping of commands with the wmr touch controllers?

Did you find a map for commands?

Doesn't work for me.
I can only navigate subitems within currently selected tab.

I found that sometimes it jumps to other tabs but I see no consistency nor can I figure out what is the correct button sequence to repeat that

For the G2, you MUST ABSOLUTLY do that, and after, all works PERFECTLY! :
