How to get Fallout 4 VR for FREE?

No really, I already purchased a console version and PC version of this game. So wtf do I have to pay again to be able to experience this in VR? Greedy much Bethesda?

Any ideas on how to play this in VR with the standard version?

That is true, but if one is looking for an alternative to the standard solution, one must be willing to accept risks/compromises/non-full functionality for the alternative solution. I haven't checked on the prices for either VorpX or Fallout 4 VR, but let's say (for the sake of argument) that they cost the same amount. If one buys Fallout 4 VR, they can play Fallout 4 VR in VR. If one buys VorpX, one can play any of the games supported by VorpX in VR. I don't own VorpX. I don't plan to buy it. I own an Oculus and exclusively play Fallolut 4 VR on it (and love it). I believe that the VorpX VR experience could be compromised by a lack of motion controllers and am not trying to steer anyone into buying VorpX. But, with respect to the question: "Any ideas on how to play this in VR with the standard version?", VorpX is one answer.

i wouldn't bother trying to bodge together a setup that enables VR in the normal game. if you want to play FO4 in VR you're best off just buying it. it's not cheap, but everything, ahem, "just works," the moment you boot it up. if your PC can handle it and you really enjoy FO4, it's worth it.
