Fallout 4 VR, Nexus Mod Manager, and Working Out Issues With The Game
Has anyone been able to get Nexus Mod Manager [NMM] to work with this game. By renaming the files in my game folder to say fallout 4 [sans VR] I was able to get NMM to find my game folder. I changed where it was sending the mods so they got added into my Fallout 4 VR game folder like would happen with a game supported by NMM. Then I changed a few lines of code in the right ini files [I've used the same 3-4 Reddit posts everyone cites to in order to do this]. I got mods working but now my game crashes to desktop whenever I go to the level up menu.

Does anyone know when and if Nexus plans to add official support for Fallout 4 VR? Without the NMM to manage, add, and remove mods my game keeps crashing. Since the base version of this fame is even more buggy than most Bethesda games upon release, just playing the standard version is significantly underwhelming. The reflex sights feature a circle or dot that is pratically invisible, this issue should have been solved during testing if Bethesda was paying attention. Not to mention the fact that scopes are completley unsusable, since looking through them shows nothing at all.

Game crashing when you go to the levelup menu has nothing to do with NMM, which works fine once you tell it to use the Fallout 4 VR folder.

What mods are you using? Any mod that heavily changes perks (Horizon, Be Exceptional, etc) will cause the game to crash when you open the perk menu.

I was able to use Horizon once I (manually) installed the Levelupmenu.swf from this; https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/28630

For me using keynuker causes the game to crash when opening any menu, so far any mod that changes the ui seems to cause problems for me.

To be clear, you just need that levelupmenu.swf. Don't install Be Exceptional itself.

If you add the code
[VRUI] bVREnableMods=1
You can manage your mods in the Fallout 4 VR menu. You have to use a controller, as I've not found how to use the wands, but you can now enable, disable, and reorder (and be careful, delete without warning). I'll try to post the controller map later.

At the log in press Y to go into loadorder. In loadorder
A - enable/disable
X - reorder
Y - delete
B - back
