They just sold a mod for $60 bucks. 88MB file size.
There is a file going around on the web which is the actual VR mod file it is 88MB in size lol.

The core game files are from fallout 4 and anyone who owns the official game has them all.
The VR mod contains :

Fallout4_VR - Main.ba2
Fallout4_VR - Shaders.ba2
Fallout4_VR - Textures.ba2
Fallout4_VR.esm
Fallout4VR.exe
Fallout4VrCustom.ini

88MB in size. Bethesda has just stooped to a new low.
This is literally a mod for fallout 4.

FO4 is actually just a morrowind mod, just like Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas and Skyrim.

Filesize doesnt say anything?

What do you think skyrim on the nintebdo switch is ? A new game ?
No its a tweaked version of skyrim that runs on a freaking handheld.

Quit your QQ'ing and just dont buy this game.

Ask for something else from your moms CC child xD

Payday 2 created a mod which was for VR. Free
188MB in file size and runs very well.

Fallout 4 has a mod which is for VR. Costs 60 bucks.

I am enjoying the immersion.
A 200+ hour rpg saga is unique in the vr community. I have no issue paying for that.

And payday 2 is a boring game that was free anyway.

These 2D games being sold as VR and charging full price is really a scam.
It is 100% the base game assets and files.

All they did was add a small mod which lets the game display in VR and they can justify charging the price of the full game?


Ridiculous. Nothing but a full fledged ripoff.

The game was never made for VR. They created 0 new assets or artwork or story for VR. nothing . It is just a small file that allows the headset to display the game .

Its posted on reddit, on the fallout reddit.

There is a thread discussing how all the base game assets are exactly the same and they isolated the few files which allow it to be displayed in VR.

Basically proving that Bethesda did not really work on this game at all and only poorly modded it to display on a VR headset.

So you PERSONALLY believe. a small poorly made mod is worth the price of the full game?


You can buy the entire non-Vr game for $60
or you can buy the VR mod which is 99.9% the same content and game for $60.

And there we have it.

IT is double dipping, selling the same product twice.
However you feel about it is irrelevant because that is a fact.
