uhmm how do we swim in F4VR

try to do the quest today in the water but have no clue how to swim , and i can not find info on it at all

It's annoying af, I don't think I got it all properply but you have to hold the right grip then I'm not sure if it's press and hold or press then swing and flap your arms either up or down.

I tried to do the quarry pump mission but kept dieing so I gave up until I get breathe underwater (considering the quest is still available).

Crap I mean press and hold part on the triggers, grip just gets you submerged

According to the devs, you're supposed to actually try to breast stroke. Haven't gotten that far myself, but this is what I've read on the FO4 VR forums.

Yes that's it. I drowned twice after jumping in water, assuming the game would tell me how to swim...no such luck.

You use the touchpad to move on the surface of the water, then you crouch to submerge, pull the triggers in and breast stroke, releasing the triggers twowards the end of each stroke.
