They propably haven't figured out how to make the character customisation work in VR, or just were too lazy to implement it.
I'd say reflections but I'm pretty sure the character model doesn't actually render... But you are forgetting you can customise your spouse and enjoy that for oh... At most maybe 30 minutes of gameplay? Plus anytime you want to visit their frozen corpse.
eh. like I said, it's mostly a stupid obsessive compulsive desire to customize my character no matter if I'll see them or not. But I also just wanted to make sure I didn't miss some stupid obvious button I had to push.
I believe, though, that Shaun's appearance is based on the parents, no?
I think that was supposed to be the plan but they skipped out on it by making him only appear as a generic baby and generic old man.
Must be subtle then. My brother had both parents be dark skinned and Shaun was still a pale old man. I mean I know he's into modifying himself but that's some real Micheal Jackson stuff right there.
Last thing the lack of attention to any VR features in this game is just sad but like Skyrim, the modding community has made this a wonderful VR experience.
