I think that's specific to Rift

Crikey folks, I don't typically even say this, but it's time to start searching first. Opt of the Beta, it works.

Fallout 4 VR seems to use your desktop resolution, what res are you running desktop in? Maybe it's too high or something?
ONE Dec 12, 2017 @ 2:53am
1440p @ 144Hz i once turned it down to 1080p @ 60Hz

I did a complete reinstall, still the shortcut wont start SteamVR so i have to start SteaVR manually and then start Fallout then the Loaingscreen comes (this wich comes on evry vr game) then the whole playarea goes from Black VR to white VR room and nothings done.

No crashreport or anything

Anyone can help? :(

I'm getting this same problem :/ It hits the loading screen after I press 'New Game' and then bumps me back out to SteamVR, closing Fallout entirely. I'm on Vive and Windows 10, with a GTX1070

So far I've tried:
Verifying Install files
Opting out of SteamVR Beta
Restarting
Disconnecting my monitor so only the HMD is rendering
Turning down all the Actor/Item fade settings

No luck so far.

Same here, starts to load then just bumps back to the Steam VR menu

Does not work for me at all. When I press the touch trigger during the intro I get empty green boxes which might be menus. After that I hear sounds of the character selection, but the graphics are not getting displayed.

Things I tried:
- opting out of Steam VR Beta
- all the different starting options: Steam library, Desktop icon, inside Steam VR lobby, Oculus home -> does not change anything
- Windows 7 compatibility mode -> game crashes faster than I can say Bethesda
- administrator mode -> does not change anything
- disconnecting 2nd monitor -> does not change anything

now I am out of options :(

Anything I could still try (aside from buying a Vive ^^) ?

Vive here.
Opted out of beta.
Checked install files.
Updated Nvidia drivers after first install and attempt to launch.
Restarted multiple times.
Can play every other game other than FO4VR.
Click Launch > Starts to load > fails and bumps me back to Steam VR menu.
Took a day off to play without wife and kids distracting, sitting here unable to play.
Awesome.
