-The Crows can be used to your advantage! If you walk by a crow and allow it to make noise without swatting it away, it will draw the Groundskeeper towards it. While he's making his way to the noisy crow, you can go to the opposite side of the stage and dig up more graves without having to worry about him - especially if it's in a spot with only one exit route.
-Managing enemies can be really important. Sure, you always need to dig up graves in search of body parts, but don't allow too enemies to wander around without killing them. If you do, you may find that they're in the way when you're trying to make a mad dash for the escape portal at the end of any given stage. So yeah, kill enemies whenever you have the opportunity so they're not piling up too much.
-Use power-ups to your digging advantage. The super shovel isn't the only power-up that's great for digging up graves. When you're invincible with a star, speedy with the shoes, or invisible in ninja mode, use that time wisely and dig up some graves that are in trickier spots like dead ends so you can escape unharmed!
-If you discover a body part in a grave that's easily accessible somewhere out in the open, leave it there rather than picking it up right away. Go collect all the other body parts you need and then when you have them all, you can collect that last one easily without having to worry about being corned in a dead end or anything. This will usually make it a lot easier to make your way to the escape portal on any given stage!
-Don't forget about collecting those Green Potion Bottles along the way. Every 10 bottles you collect gives you a valuable extra life!
