Active player base only 98 people

I imagine at this point the only people still playing the game are family/friends of the developers or possibly bots. Is it too late to take the game out of early access and work on it for another year? Would you consider re releasing VHS as a single player adventure game?

The original concept for the game was a singleplayer game but they changed that after they went a publisher and were told they should be multiplayer.

Now having little multiplayer experience they are struggling to keep people invested.

I'm not the troublemaker. You call me a troublemaker simply because I don't agree with you. And the reason I haven't been banned is because I haven't done anything to warrant such. And I don't blindly defend the Devs, but I also don't call people names, insult, mock or be rude or disrespectful to them (or anyone) or bash the game as there is no need of that towards anyone, It's simply not right. People can give constructive criticism and suggestions without being insulting or ugly.

The remaining players are those who are committed to the game (and at the time you pulled the numbers, who don't live in NA, as that is the most populous region, and the player count usually peaks at 130ish rn). At low time, it usually sits around 40 give or take, so it fluctuates between the two extremes.
I don't see a reason to revoke access for a major overhaul. They will probably just finely adjust things until they feel that the game is ready. There is an update coming within a week which includes Reggie, a Christmas event, and likely some more QOL for monster. They are also making a Dev vlog vid which Martin stated will be around 40 minutes long, so who knows what else we will see

This is unacceptable and should not be tolerated. I didn't even engage with you Color nor you Raptor, but you both just have to jump in and be rude and disrespectful to me simply because I do not agree with your views nor am I toxic to the Devs or about the game and simply would like to see the game succeed if it's in the cards, and am willing to wait for all of the coming changes even if it's not fast enough for the likes of you. Whether you like it or not, there are people that do enjoy and like the game and would like for it to succeed, if possible, whether you do or not and why it bothers the people who feel differently, I'll never understand. Why continue to come and insult, mock and bash the Devs, players of and a game that you do not even play or supposedly like? Why does it matter to you if there are still people that would like to see things fixed and enjoy the game? It makes no sense. I don't frequent forums of games I do not play or like, so for the life of me, I don't understand why people just come here to beat up on the Devs, players of and a game that's just trying to stay alive, improve, and fix things, and spread hatred. It's honestly atrocious in my opinion.

People can express their dislike of, criticism of, feedback and suggestions without being hateful or insulting to others. I respect if you or anyone else do/does not like or is frustrated with the game, that's fine and I understand, but please respect those who do and/or are willing to be patient for changes, and be respectful of the Devs and the game as well! Personally if someone is rude in a criticism it is distasteful and unlikable however ignoring their entire comment is foolish (In my opinion) as it is a good point, the idea of at least creating a single player story mode to balance the lack of players. The best part of this for me however is more lore for the characters and especially the monsters for example Doll Master all I know about them is the proposed origin story from their VHS tape and I would love to learn more maybe by playing as Doll Master before they became the creature they are today and how they ended up terrorising teens.

It's a fun game, what can I say
