Queues are bad because Monster is a terrible experience and needs work. At least 15%, preferably 20%, of the queued players need to be Monster for the game to work and that doesn't happen. That's always been the main issue with VHS.
Everyone brings up DBD when VHS is mentioned, and mention that DBD is more popular. That might be true; however, do half of these people know that DBD was also suffering from the same fate at launch?
Some people should take a moment and watch how awful the killer experience was during year one and two. I'm surprised the game survived.
