WMR Controller tracking issue
As an Archer (I haven't played as a fighter yet) when I draw the bow rapidly to fire a number of arrows in panic, the game loses track of the right controller as it draws towards the headset. The left controller will then start glitching randomly causing an arrow to go anywhere but where you want. This equally happens when fighting with a dagger, sometimes the right hand will just disappear for 10 seconds and you cannot fight.

It's an issue you can overcome fighting regular mobs but I am trying to fight the 4th boss currently and cannot kill him because the bow glitches like this, the dagger glitches when trying to fight, and then consistently your arrows will hit his staff as he wields it rather than hitting him. it's infuriating.

Is this only an issue with WMR controller tracking? or are all headsets experiencing this. I am using the HP one and I don't have this issue in other games, nor in the mixed reality environment.

I have an Acer, the issue is the same. WMR just fails miserably whenever you move your hands behind the sensors on the front. I don't think the devs can do anything to mitigate this :(

I imagine it is programming within the game to fully utilize the sensors on the headset that track the handsets as it does not happen in other games nor in the Windows Mixed Reality environment. Perhaps whatever way they're testing/programming it currently is not aimed at all toward the WMR headsets.

personally if I was programming and testing it, I would aim it at the lowest spec headsets and handsets on the market and try to perfect it there, because if you get it right there, then the higher end headsets and handsets will have little to no trouble, as they're more capable than the lower end. Not everyone is going to get an Oculus or Index Valve. Me personally I will never buy an Oculus being Facebook owned and the Valve is way out of my price range currently. The VR market is already a small exclusive market. Don't pitch your game to be even more exclusive or you might end up with fewer customers than its worth for producing the game.

This is unfortunately correct. The WMR controllers lose tracking when close to the face, especially when moving fast. The two forward facing cameras can not detect the controllers past a certain point.

You may however want to check you play environment for shiny surfaces, as this can interfere with tracking too.

Karnage can be fully played with WMR, but be wary of how far you move your hands behind your head.
