What's more important to note, is velocity and timing in Karnage.
1: Your sword deals damage based on how hard and fast you swing your sword, so swing away!
2: If you wiggle, no damage will be caused, this is to stop exploiting the combat system.
3: It's better to parry an incoming attack with your sword (or shield if you have one). This then gives you a window of opportunity to attack while they are still recovering from the parry, but you still have to be mindful of where you hit the enemy.
4: All enemies have weak spots, use those to your advantage!
We're improving combat constantly, and with our next big content update we'll be updating combat quite a lot.
Hopefully this helps! Let us know how that works out for you!
