Level 8

What am I supposed to do on this level?
There's some creatures that can eat me but even when I get passed them there no where to go, I tried using the First Sight dlc for hints but still couldn't figure it out.
Anyone managed to beat it?

I'm encountering the same issue. Seems like once you get through the corridor, you can just wander around without limitation.

Same here. According to a guide (chapter 2, stage 2) there should be a checkpoint after the two creatures next to each other, but I end up in an endless room. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=896845887

Level 8 and 9 are broken in the latest version of the game, but I had no problem downloading the first depot. For Level 8 simply 3 to the right, 12 down, 3 left, then down until you pass.
For Level 9 there's a solution in my guide.

So i guess getting achievements past level 8 is impossible?
Since when you download depot and launch the exe, it doesn't register as if the game is launched.

You have to copy the depot over the game files, then ignore any update messages that you might get.

I did that in several variations. It seems copying ALL the files will result in an error upon startup.
While copying only files starting with "app.info" through "sharedassets15.resource" (without copying any folders) will lead to a full visible map and a fix of level 8. But it breaks almost all dialogue and traps you on levels where you have to wait for a trigger to open doors.

Ok after tinkering with it a bit more. I think i made it work. I was missing "steam_api64.dll". I was able to progress past level 8. My only problem is that dlc map doesn't work now, but at least i can continue playing.

You are right, I might have only copied the level files. Once you finish 8 and 9 you can revert to the latest version of the game, the remaining levels should work afaik.
