If the devs could please supply me with a legitimate reason as to why this game does not have linux/SteamOS support if be surprised baecasue as an avid user and dev that uses unity as well i can tell you that there would be little to no extra effort. Infact all youd need to do is throw SteamOS and ubuntu 16.04/17.10 on a few rigs and youd be golden. Dont be lazy. I hate to be negative about another south african dev that ive met and enjoyed thier game at RAGE expo. But the laziness is astounding. Cant do it? HIRE SOMEONE TO DO YOUR LINUX TESTING. ♥♥♥♥ id be happy to do it.

Hi Dan, at this time the video player we use for our cut scenes does not support Linux. We are a 2-person team, and currently we don't have the resources to author a video player from scratch with all the functionality that we need. For that reason, we're relying on a third-party asset. If this changes in future and we're able to deliver a Linux build, I will post an announcement here and in the community.

Just found about this game now, would love to play it on Linux. I'm wondering if there aren't any workarounds for this issue? Maybe the videos need to be in a different format to be able to get it working on Linux.

So the game runs under Proton, but it doesnt play videos, which are crucial to the gameplay.
