Turn off sound effects?

I can turn off the music but not the sound effects. Is there any workaround? I play games like this while listening to podcasts etc., so it doesn't work for me to just turn off system sounds altogether.

Definitely doesn't work. I do the same thing (listen to lets plays while playing puzzle games) and the sounds definitely detract. A shame because the game is nice and I could see myself playing more of it.

I really enjoy playing the game, but he SFX are just so freaking loud that I pretty much always close it within a couple minutes. They cannot be turned off and are louder than anything else I listen to, no matter what I do. I admit i was hoping y'all had a fix, but beginning to think I wasted money here. Not much money, but still.
