All I had to do was do a search for lucid, search for "Lucid_player_profiles_data.dat". I right clicked on the file and clicked on restore previous versions. I lost about 3 or 4 levels, but starting over at level 49 rather than starting at level 1 is so much better. It's not a great fix, but at least it's some kind of work around.

that was a while ago and the backups have been erased since then. thanks though ; might help others aswell also

This has happened to me twice, and Windows is denying me the opportunity to restore the file. Utter bulljive... worst design choice imaginable.

Hi Serieus, Where in the directory did you find the profile dat file, i did the same mistake as Rainbow Dash did....deleted the the game

was looking for a .sav file , thats where i went wrong then LOL
