How do I get the honey...[Puzzle Spoiler]

I have the lighter. I put the rag and the sticks in the burnt area...What else do I need to do in order to get the honey?

Hmmm ok. I had tried that, says that it has another use here. Also tried lighting the pile and then quickly fanning, to no avail.

Grab the newspaper from the shack in the wasteland and hang it to dry in the settlement
