It stays after the battle ofc.
in the Armorshop: is it possible to display all the characters (maybe with their character figure) who are able to equip that piece of gear?
otherwise you have to constantly click through all your teammates to see it.
it looks like the bug happened after i loaded the game after the second warroom meeing.
it looks like the first time you speak to him where he tidies up the whole castele didn t either happen or it bugged.
the castle s look is still in shambles.
A young girl named Ivy has come through the rift and is currently in the library.
.... there is noone in the library....
i m on the "Final Battle" . i just defeated all the guys in front of the castle and now i m inside the castle where the dialogue with Leon starts.
he decides to join but the map is COMPLETELY black. i can t even see the characters.
it did not crash nor did it freeze - i can still open the menu and walk but it s dark.
i randomly walked around and triggered a battle. after the battle the map went to normal again . phew...
I decided to NOT put the mask on but now that i m in the the castle with the evil one he says :
"Yes, I accepted the mask to stop them.."
?
Leon is still in your party after you chose to spare cross and he s lying on the ground
Alright, some of these are meant to work a specific way. Some of these are definitely not supposed to work that way. For more info, refer to below:
Poison debuff is a permanent debuff that can only be removed by antidote or a skill that Lucia gets around level 8. It's not a skill that times out over actions or turns, to separate it from other games that have it like that.
The item shop is likely preventing you from buying more than 1 of the same item due to the item core plugin which puts random variations on certain equipment. Not sure if that's what causes it, but the items themself should not have variation so they should allow multiple purchases at once. I can double check the note tags on them but am pretty sure they're all set right so not sure on that one.
The equipment can be shown for all characters in your party. This means that it will show everyone, not just those in the active party, but also those on standby. It's part of the plugin that controls that so not much I can do there. I find it to be useful when you can see everyone's equips since it allows you to equip everyone rather than just the active party (in case a certain mission swaps out your characters and you get stuck with a weaker party member). But yeah, not a bug there, just the way the plugin works.
Healing Orchid, definitely a bug and I'll fix that one up with next update! I prolly screwed it up with the 1.6 engine update since that screwed with several of the core plugins.
The castle cleanup thing sounds like a bug for sure. This is prolly caused once again by the 1.6 engine update. I actually had to revert this update in LALM because it was causing problems so I'm gonna do the same in TOTL to fix these. This whole sequence of events are doodads controlled by a plugin to determine when they show or not. The eventing works fine on that and I have tested that bit a bunch to confirm it, so the only way it could mess up is the plugin not working as it should because of 1.6, so that shouldn't happen anymore after next patch.
I'll have to check Ivy's controlling switch and see if it's properly turned on when you select Kanton. Not sure why that one didn't work, so likely a bug there.
lol Alright, I'll put a save orb there for convenient purposes. The reason it was only in her room was to force the player to go there so no unknown bugs would happen, but I think I can find a place for it down there too.
Black screens are usually caused by the events failing to load the "fade in" command. I'll double check and see if it's one of those that got deleted. Will be fixed next patch (prolly tonight due to the number of things pointed out here lol)
As for the instances with Leon, He is backed into a corner in Anticai. The reason he chooses the opposite of you is because going through the Rift changes a person/creature in some way or another. In his case, by going through the Rift after refusing the mask, he puts it on on the other side to destroy his target since vengeance is all he cares about. Vengeance becomes his primary focus because he sees no one of the other side of the Rift, which means none made it through. LALM's events will explain why no one arrived in Oricai except for Leon who went through the Rift after everyone else.
But yeah, once he's in the Castle and if you spare him, he should have left the party. It's probably just another mixup with the eventing not triggering the way it should. These type of things happen more often when you're fast forwarding through things too. It'll be fixed in tonight's patch!
in the end you can save the game which i haven t done yet because i try the different choices out.
is there something like a new game + ?
oh and btw: ... what is LALM? D:
LALM is the second game that's in active development now. That is short for "Luminia and the Last Magician". LALM follows the events that take place in Leon's arc in Anticai, better explaining what went down there and some of the side effects of going through a Rift of the Parallels. (That game will also have a quest tracking system and several other features that were requested for TOTL, but was too late to add into TOTL)
The reason you can save at the end, is so that (hopefully) I can make something that will allow you to transfer data from game 1 to game 2 to change some of the links between the two according to your choices in game 1. Not sure if that's possible, so the second reason for it was to unlock the Tower of Trials, which is an endless looping dungeon where it will randomize each floor and provide an ever increasing challenge. There are new game + plugins, but they don't do it how I would have liked it (instead allowing you to restart as new game + anytime rather than only upon completion of the game), so I never used those.
Leon will choose the opposite of whichever choice you make since whatever he feels on the other side is different. You also have to take in effect, that these are parallel worlds, meaning Leon might exist in both worlds as Cross or Leon. So, the Leon you meet in the end of the game, might not even be the same Leon you saw in Anticai. Things get tricky with time travel/parallel worlds and the like, but I can tell you that that Leon/Cross is the same as the one in Anticai and the reason he's the opposite choice is because of the Rift's side effects. What this doesn't mean though, is that the Cross you encounter throughout the game is the same. He could be and most likely is someone entirely different who came from a different world (noticeable by the number of Lumminai he controls and the fact that none of them belonged to Heralds of Anticai), explained more in LALM,
Since he shows up in that game too!
If it doesn't fix that, please let me know and I'll see what I can do to make it work some other way. Everything else is fixed though!
Edit: This patch is now live. All the mentioned fixes should be on the steam version now. Let me know if anything is still broken.
There s a game called Last Dream and Last Dream: World Unknown. it s rpg-maker too and the savedate transfer works there.
That sounds great
yes.... there s always a line where lucia says what the change does.... "does".. ...
Does it have any influence on the increase of ressources, food or amount of troops?
cuz it certainly uses up ressources!
Edit: Oh my god! i restored everything the architect had to offer but Gaelin and wynn are still complaining: "Seeing the castle in the state it currently is... it s heartbreaking" -.- how mean!
as far as i perceive it it s only for the looks
