No knowlegde of any Desperados game needed.
I don't know for D2 and Hell Dorado. I bought them, but D2 doesn't start.
D1 was updated a couple years ago to work with modern systems, so you should have no issues there. D2 and Helldorado were not updated, and like the above commenter, they gave me problems trying to play. I had to use Mesa3d drivers[fdossena.com] to run them under Windows 10. Both games work fine with Mesa, but with a much lower framerate than your hardware would otherwise get. If you have a way to boot into Linux, D2/Helldorado runs very well through Valve's Proton compatibility layer.
thanks for the tip, I was able to start D2
