Free Content Updates #1 - #4

Since the launch of the game on June 2020, there have been 4 free updates with a lot of additional content:
- 9 additional Baron's Challenge missions
- Bounty Mode (You can bring additional characters to most missions when replaying)
- DevCheat mode that allows for creating custom missions that can also be shared with other players. Find how to use it and download crazy, fun, challenging missions here:

EDIT: Ohh... i see here, i try to download again and inside steam folder have a download folder with a ID 610370.

610370 is just the appId for the game, so that's the same for everyone. I think there is software to dump the subscriptions attached to your account, but I'm not familiar with them. You might find some info about that on SteamDB though.

I think the problem is that the key you bought must be attached to one of the subs in red at the bottom line, which is why there's no Linux depot attached to it. There's nothing you can do to fix it yourself (other than getting a refund from Nuuvem, and buying it again on Steam). It's something that a developer would have to fix.

A really cool concept for the challenge though I was hoping it will be an alternative reality where Cooper+Dad succeeded - aka we would play as Dad as well, rather then Hector. I didn't find skill sets particularly interesting so doing this challenge felt more familiar then others. I suppose the goal was to challenge "tied body throw" abusers, but I found this challenge to play very similarly to "don't cross paths" badge.

It's 2 months since the purchase, i don't think i get a refund at this time.

I achieved to put the game to run again via proton and fixed the proton version on steam config for this game.

If the developer don't correct this i think for me only remains play via proton.

Hi,
I have bought the game as soon as I saw it was released for Linux, and I ran in an issue:
I have a 32:9 3840x1080 monitor. However I cannot choose this resolution in the game. I only have access to 1920x1080 and 2560x1080. If I play in borderless or fullscreen the pixels are then streched.
Has someone any idea how I could solve this issue?

Hello. I can't install game for Mac OS. After pressing button 'Install' and 'Next" - the window appears in a second with "Launch" and its all. The game itself is not actually downloaded. Please help in this question

Sounds like the same issue as Nando_lavras above is having. The Linux and Mac depots have the same subscriptions.

It seems what i owned App ID 610370 ("Desperados III"), but I don't owned 610372 "Desperados III OSX".

I think, Desperados III Deluxe must included all version (Mac OS, Linux...)

AFAIK buying the game from third party sites may not only cause such problems but also probably doesn't make the sale count as a Linux/OSX sale which is a pity.

Why? Steam says - key is normal and valid. This game (Deluxe version) installs normaly on my Windows platform. But i like game on my Mac OS platform

Because of what I explained above. The key you bought is only associated with Windows content. It's up to the developer to fix that.

I think - all patch must work with all versions, buy in third party or steam, buy before 2nd September or after (2nd September - release date patch). Steam work with this key. Dev, please fix it.

The reason why it works like this is because it's much easier to create multiple ways to buy the game without needing to duplicate uploading (and server storage) for every single purchase option. It also makes it possible to grant time limited access for eg. free weekends or beta testing, and then easily revoke all attached subscriptions at once.

so I'm in the third Mission now. I sadly have to say, that the performance is ok but it runs better with proton.
and this is the reason why I asked for vulkan. the opengl renderer in unity is not good (only uses one core) maybe the devs could integrate vulkan in a future patch, so that we have the choice to use it with "-force-vulkan" opengl can still be the default renderer
