Mississippi river mission without touching water

how do you get across the first bridge without alerting guards?

wow that's a really ridiculous requirement ;(

anyway the only way I figured out how to get across the first bridge is to leave a tied body so the guy shooting the boat will see it and cross the bridge to investigate, you have just enough time and space to kill him, is there a better way?

I just finished that, I did no water, hard mode, and rescued Kate first. The thing that helped me out the most is that you can assign the cat out of range from your target, and when you get in range the cat will automatically run to your target. It allowed me to quickly run into line of sight and out again without triggering the alarm. I believed I used a body to lure the guy across the bridge but I could have used mind control if I wanted as well.

I just finished this level with no water badge on Desperados mode. I'm playing on PC, I can definitely dump bodies into water and I still get the badge. I just have to make sure I dont jump into the water (indicated by your character turning into his hidden colour silhouette thing).

As for the first bridge, I cleared the two behind the wall first (one of them runs back and fourth) - I used Connect and i waited for the guy at the gattling guy to stop looking around. Once they were cleared, I waited for the other patrol to turn left and walk towards the Poncho. I then used Control on the guy at the gattling gun, moved him to the bushes, and used him to kill the guy who is directly looking at the bridge. The guy in blue shirt then runs over to investigate and i quickly just ran over and meleed him while the patrol was still over on the left (I used the cat to distract the patrol to give me more time). Then I easily took care of the patrol + Poncho with a Connect

For the other areas, I used the cat a lot and did what HaBiT mentioned up top.

This was my first play through of the mission, and I figured no water was a badge so I added the extra challenge for me :) Was fun though using Isabelle for the first time tho
