Survive the Internet Soft-Locks on Start

Hello, first of all, after buying the Quadpack yesterday, I must say I've had a blast with my friends thus far. However, when we tried to play Survive the Internet with 3 people (hosted on a Mac), the announcer gets as far as adding a computer player (Greg or Earl or something), clicking the Survive the Internet desktop icon, and moving the mouse off the screen. At this point, the game doesn't do anything. No music, no voice lines, just a geometric Windows XP background. The game isn't frozen per-se, since we can press escape and exit the game. Every other game in all the other packs work flawlessly. Is there something we're doing wrong? Thanks to anyone that can help.

We're continuing to look into this issue, sorry for the hassle.

Update: Later, it worked until the Round 2 results were about to pop up, then after that it works flawlessly. I'm still waiting to see if anything happens again. Sounds like it's gonna be a tough nut to crack...
