How to 'activate' A10 on DCS World

I'm assuming you can, as it is required apparently to patch the game from now on. Also the Steam version is pretty borked, the Tutorials do not work for me at all, the campaign has random crashes.

I don't mind having to re-download the game if that's necessary, I just have no idea how I would go about getting A10 on DCS world. I have it installed.

It's been a while since you asked this but in case you didn't find the answer:

go to www.digitalcombatsimulator.com and download DCS: World and the DCS: A-10C Module for World. Install World and let it update, then install the A-10C Module and update again. Once you start the first mission the game will ask you to activate the A-10C module so keep your key ready when you first start the game.

The system requires the correct Serial Number of the application to perform this operation. The Serial Number entered is wrong or mistyped. Enter a valid Serial Number and try again.




i get this error when i enter the cd key.

All you really need to do is install your steam version of DCS A-10C, run it once (go all the way to a mission, single player will do), quit out, install DCS World and the DCS A-10C module (it should see that you arleady have your steam version installed and use that activiation code automatically.

After you run your first mission in DCS World, you can go ahead and uninstall your steam version.

This has always worked for me.

Do you have a 32bit OS cause that is going to make the game crash

IF not sure Pull up your cmd and type dxdiag and it should say on the window that pulls up if you have a 32bit os or a 64bit
