Need help on my HOTAS

I have the ACE-EDGE flight stick from Ace Combat 6 for the xbox 360. DCS A-10c wont recognize the thrust controller axis. It does recognize the buttons on it. The flight stick part works fine. All connections are ok.

Evga 670 sc 4gb
3 Acer G245hq monitors running in Nvidia surround
Logotech G510 key board
Razer naga epic mouse
Creative 2.1 speakers

Now I just got DCS A-10 myself, I'd recommend using Xpadder. Unfortunatly it simply mimics keyboard presses but it might be an ok fix until someone else passes a long with a better solution.

Is the throttle detected in the windows properties for the setup?

it is. I got it to work just had to fuss with in game options alot.

Having the same problem here, i also have the ACE EDGE x-box 360, my throttle is not recogniced, can you tell me how you make it work?
