What are some good merc builds for low Reincarnation levels.
More specifically i'm only R6ish (or R7 i don't remember) and i prefer a more AFK/offline style of play. If i can set something up, and then go to bed and wake up ready to abdicate or even reincarnate, that would be ideal for me. Before I got Mercs I usually just rocked with undead/drow pretty much up until i reincarnated. I heard people say dwarves are really good and maybe they are if you're actively playing but idk, i like having the good mix of assistants and offline production from undead/drow. I genuinely don't know how to build a good merc setup. I've tried experimenting with different things and even tried to go heavy into a assistant merc setup where i just hit 9k assistants which is insane to me at my current level. But even with that it just doesn't seem as effective in the longrun as my old reliable. Maybe it's because i didn't grab any of the offline production skills but i need some kinda help here

The Not A Wiki has some good builds.
http://musicfamily.org/realm/MercBuilds/
The only problem is ... it only has a single production build,: AA. And that build is that strong that you can abdicate again after like a minute or two and just blitz through most R's within an hour or two. If you forget to pick up the Konw Your Enemy Part 1 artifact in R12 it probably already slows down at like R13, otherwise only at like R15.

The problem with offline builds is that they're simply terrible. Spells are simply always stronger than offline production. I fear that Realm Grinder is actually an extremely active game in A0 as most builds are that strong that they won't require buildup. and even the ones that require some buildup time always require online time, offline time is simply terrible for production. Usually you should spend offline time to gather faction time for the factions that require them for some unlocks later, like each of the neutral factions needs 2 days, and later even 5 days each.

I don't really understand some of the terms used on that site. It says things like "FC3" and "DW5" I feel like i'm reading some kind of technical document or a microsoft excel spreadsheet. Also do you know if that site is updated to the current version of the game? I prefer using the actual wiki for general information but some of the builds on the wiki are outdated. Tried to follow their "lightning forge" merc build and some of the names for the tiered upgrades are out of date completely. I had no idea what it was trying to say

The easiest way to use those builds is to simply copy it and insert it into the game and let it handle it. Since while you are affiliated with the mercs you have a save template and load template button next to the buy all button. Though it will only buy the upgrades .. you can actually afford, so you might have to import it several times to get all upgrades if you're low on fc or coins. But in general, each abbreviation stands for one faction, like FC for Faceless, and the number stands for each of their 9 faction upgrades. It's also properly explained in Goof's Not a Wiki.

Also, Goofs not a Wiki is the most up to date wiki we have. It might be not perectly up to date, but it's only like one or two versions behind. While the wiki that told you about Lightning Force is truely ancient. It's many many years behind, so behind that some of the listed builds are even impossible to select. So don't even bother with it. Also, Goof's Not a Wiki (and the Discord) Also has some nice plots for each Ascension that tells you when to use which build and also some general goals for specific Reincarnations, like unlocking specific things. In case you might not know when to use which build. (In the bottom left of Goof's Not a Wiki, where the links to the builds are)

You can also go to the Discord and look for builds there, but up to like R125 they do mostly tell you that you can just use builds from Goof's Not a Wiki, as they are still mostly up to date. Though from R125 onwards it is not fully up to date anymore, so you then can check out the builds on the Discord.

The problem is that you didn't use the correct link. The link I posted is a http link. The one in your image is a https link, and it won't work with https.

Slight necro, but there is also a page on the sidebar that explains the terms used.
