Pre-Ascension2-checklist

I'm almost ready to start ascension 2 (R99 with about 1e3 gems to farm left) and would like to ask if I forgot something vital.

- Lineage level: I got lvl 33 in every lineage and consider trying to push it a little more right before ascending with the "up to lvl 32" builds. Is there a recommended level or do most people simply stay at lvl 32?
- (edit) Rubies from excavations: I got #28 (20300 excavations) and I don't want to get #29 (21750 excavations). (I wrote "Gems" before editing)
- Lore Artifacts: 42 / 54. The last 12 artifacts should all be A2-related.
- Trophies: I got 833 / 838; the last 5 trophies are all A2-related.
- Research: every research group will be 4950/4950; I'm working on that right now.

--> That's all I can think of; did I forget anything vital or useful?

- Lineage level is not worth the time because it will reset to level 25 in A2
- Gems (I think you mean rubies) not necessary if you (and I pressume) have 50 rubies
- Research : not necessary because in A2 you buy them with FC and is easy to achieve

- 100 reincarnations
- Mana Spring
- Arcane Brilliance 6
- Holy Frenzy
- Uniformity

You were right about the Rubies (I wrote Gems and edited it now): I got 68 so far (thanks to events).

I'm a bit behind where he is, kind of wondering it it pays to dink around for the few remaining things I have that aren't a2 locked.
Drow/Demon 3 perk trophies
Beareded Trophy
Spell master/Mana Spring
Only at 17k excavations
And haven't capped research

Is it a huge factor to skip and just advance then get those during a2?

If you're missing the drow and demon trophies due to not having completed the lineage challenges for those two, then you can wait if you want, although demon will be a little easier beforehand. If it's due to not having the lineage levels, get those - you do want all your lineages to have reached 25.

The beard carpet trophy can't be done at A2 yet, although the next update should make it possible. That will likely be out fairly soon, but the trophy might well still not be available right after ascension.

Spell master is significantly faster before ascension, and that will probably remain true even after the next update. Mana spring is locked until A2 anyway.

Excavation rubies aren't so important that maxing excavations is essential; do some kind of run with E290, but you don't have to push it all the way up if you don't want to.

Lastly, there's no need to worry about research points at the end of A1.

Just haven't gotten drow/demon because of the additional time sink, lineages are all 32-3.

Good to know about beared carpet, I can probably just set it up for that and the demon one and let it ride after getting through the spell master run.

3 days for a trophy feels like a time sink in A1, but I was shocked how long everything takes in A2 ;)

I'm only about 28 days inside A2, but it feels as if 1 day in A1 is like 7 days in A2. Getting 400 Royal Exchanges for the bloodline takes too many hours for example ;)

Research will be free in A2 (no gems, just fc), that's no problem at all. The Lineages are downgraded to 25 if you had them higher in A1. The new artifacts for the class sets are a pain, too: I only got Goblin so far. I try to get elf in R100 and getting Undead feels truly insane.
