how to actually play the dwarven faction?

I've unlocked it, and bought underground deplomicy once. Do I have to every time I wany to play dwarven faction without going into another faction?

As dwarves are a prestige faction, you will always have to affiliate with a base faction before being able to affiliate with dwarves. Initially you will also have to buy underground diplomacy each time you do so, in order to receive dwarven coins, but this requirement is removed later in the game.

Until you reach Reincanation 3, you will need to buy Underworld Diplomacy every runt o gain access to Dwarf/Drow Coins. To gain access to Dwarf/Drow, you have to buy the third FC upgrade of a Faction of their alignment (Good/Evil respectively). this part for all R's.
