Let's take R42 as an example. T2 neds 1d1h, T6 needs 16d22h.
Wich means unlocking T6 now needs way too much time. For now just advance with your Titan build. (I hope you are using Titans) until there is a R wich you can't complete within 1 day. then, since you use Titans all the time, you probably also will have 1 day of activity time for your spells wich means you also unlock T2. And then you must think about if you need T3 to reach R46 or if T2 is already enough. I think you probably will need the 1 day at R45 wich means you maybe want to extend it to 3 days to unlock T3.
And if you want to know the needed time just check them here:
http://musicfamily.org/realm/Spells/
um... for maxing all the spells you need (for each aligment) 1 run with one faction + prestige faction and one run with merc (for the other 2 spells of the current aligment faction)
so for example to max good aligment you need to run elf-dwarf run and one run with merc with fairy chanting and gods blessing. so basically 2 runs for one aligment, so 6 runs for all the spells (3 aligments)
so if for example one run (wich would give me tier 6 spells) would take 15 days then i need 90 days for max all the spells.
...no, just no. As you already said spell tiers get easier to unlock on higher R's so you always only get the tiers wich you need, or when they are really close. Don't waste time for useless spell tiers until you reached the end game and have nothing else to do.
Also, another question. Isn't it worth going for all tiers for a spell in one go? when you get tier 3, you have already gone through 50% of the progress, so why start over?
Also, doesn't active time increases much faster when you already have spell tiers?
example: Moon Blessing runs for 20 seconds. if you cast the spell three times, your active time is 60 seconds.
But if Moon Blessing is tier2, and you cast it three times, your active time should be 120 seconds, since you technically cast six spells.
Going for tier 6 at tier 5 at R48would take 15days / 5, since you cast x5 times more spells. and thus it would take three days to unlock it.
I bet I am wrong as hell here, but this seems logical to me.
Main reason for stopping and moving on is because you have enough power from the spell tiers to allow you to jump a few R's, which means you drop your required time. For instance, going from R42 to R75 drops over 8 days from the rank-6 requirement.
Nope, additional spell tiers only give a bonus to # of spells cast in addition to the spell effects getting boosted. So if you cast Moon Blessing T2 three times, you get 6 casts total to Moon Blessing, but still only 60 seconds of activity time.
