Game doesn't seem to progress if left on over night.

Anyone else notice that their game doesn't seem to progress if you let it idle overnight?
The only thing I do is turn off my monitors, my computer does not go into a sleep mode.
While playing the flash version, I have let it idle overnight multiple times with no issues.

My peers also mention they see the same thing if they lock their PCs.

You have to close the game. thats how to get offline progress. It's called offline for a reason.

yep, that is unintended. it also freezes when pc goes into screensaver, don't know why.

Can't lock your PC with the Steam version because it pauses when logged out.

i dont get it, what do you guys mean by progress. gaining coins? cause if so, why wouldnt it do that overnight

You gain massive amounts of extra coins when the game is not running.

You don't gain anything once the screensaver pops on or you lock your computer. I tried to do this last night with autocast turned on to grab those trophies over night, but I ended up just wasting all those hours as not only did I not get the normal offline progression, but not a single cast took place during it either. The game literally paused and it claims that this session has only been going for about 5 hours and I know it's been going for at least 17.

I gotta say though, I'm very close to dumping this game. I'm stuck right now with not even a tiny fraction of the gems I need after 3 hours of playing, it's just not worth waiting for.
