When to Reincarnate ?:P

Well, Reincarnation is a feature wich you unlock at 1 octillion gems. Wich means you with your 0 gems are still far away from it.

i;m playing a couple of days for now (R:3, 1e48 gems) and i must say that ive taken my sweet time to gathr trophies / artefacts (till now 529 trophies including 28 secret) and 20 lore artefacts. All challenges done up to date (still ive got some artefacts to dig at my current R).

It depends on how much time you want to spend :)

I'd say that it's best to wait till you have a fair amount of trophies unlocked, since you keep them after reincarnating. It helps to have bonuses while "starting over."

Sure, you should get a few trophies before reincarnating, especially mathematician and a few building trophies of other alignments than the one you were using at the end, but you shouldn't waste too much time with it. 3 runs, 1 for mathematician and 2 for the building trophies should be enough. And in one of them you can use all remaining excavations for some artifacts.

Well, you said you are in your first run, and a run is usually an abdication, and in your first abdicaton you always have 0 gems. Unless you meant something completly else than your first run with your first run.

But 100No gems is a little bit overkill for R0. Since you always loose all your gems there is no real benefit to get that much over the Reincarnation requirement.

By first run I mean first Reincarnation ofc sorry for the confusion. And that's why I Was asking yes because progress is a bit slow now.

Since I know there's reincarnations I just see the abdications as small resets but not a run anymore :P

But the game always see abdications as a run, so it is important to know that otherwise you may will have troubles with stuff ingame wich tells you to do stuff within a run or game.
And yeah, at 100No it slows down since this is usually the point to use something new and more powerful to advance. But at R0 you don't have this yet.

Out of curiousity, I'm a bit away from it, but what's the bonus to reincarnating? (I'm assuming there's is one)

You get a new upgrade wich costs 1 coin wich is called the Reincarnation power. With every new Reincarnation the powers gets stronger, for example an 25% bonus per R and in some Reincarnations they add a new power for example an assistant per R. And in some R's you unlock new stuff, for example the Faction challenges at R2 or a new faction at R3.
Doing Reincarnations is usually the way to progress in the game. When you ask for help most ppl want to know your Reincarnation since different Reincarnations have sometimes different ways to progress. Especially after you unlocked the Research feature at R16 wich currently will bring you up to R90. Wich currently is more or less the end of content point and progressing higher after that point will get slower and slower until you will need weeks to do 1 more Reincarnation. Until they release new content ofc on wich they are already working on. So until you are there there will be new content for sure.

I am at 1DC gems right now (actually only 5Oc, will get the Dc after abdication), making 10Uvg per second (much more with spells).

I want to reincarnate but the issue is that a lot of artefacts are still locked. Seem to have 2-3 available artefacts per race, but i keep excavating and only finding coins. (627 excavations so far.)

I have the 6 quest artefacts + 4 lore artefacts (scarab, chocolate cookie, fossilized rodent, and a dwarven bow that doesn't seem to give any upgrades)

Also 425 trophies, i don't look at wiki just organic playing, and i don't have mathematicien yet. (Not sure what that is just heard of it now.)

Should i reset or keep excavating?

You can definitely Reincarnate now, you've gone way past what you need to.

This is what i found from googling the question, seemed relevant and already had a basis of information tp continu from instead of starting all over from scratch. Is there any harm done by posting like this? (honest question)

Your question was different from the OP's in that they were asking when they should Reincarnate, and you were asking if you should keep Excavating for Artifacts or Reincarnate.

That said, it's been over a year since this thread's last comment, which means that a number of things have changed. That means that information given could be (but doesn't necessarily mean it is) outdated. By necroing an old post to ask a slightly-different question - should you keep Excavating instead of Reincarnating, which was already somewhat answered here - you increase the odds that someone will get misinformation due to old information.
