Lineage perk 2 challenge

Do i have to have the lineage picked in order to be able to do its challenge or do i just have to get it leveled and then can do the challenge somewhere else?

You dont need to have the lineage active for perk 2 challenge.

Aren't the lineage perk 2's the spell unlocks? Some of those you cannot do with the lineage active.

I just did Demon perk 2, which is the 5 days of Hellfire Blast activity time. You need to be Demon to do it, not demon lineage - you can't cast the spell yet as demon lineage so you can't use the lineage to do the perk challenge.

I don't think you need the lineage active to do any of the challenges unless the challenge specifies otherwise. You need to reactivate the lineage after completing the challenge to buy the perk, though.
