Goblin's Greed trophy question

The other day, i was looking in the trophies, and decided the next one i was going to specifically aim to get, was the one for casting Goblin's Greed 100 times in a row, casting no other spells during said time.


However, one of the goblin upgrades makes Goblin's Greed also cast Tax Collection, which i only remembered when i moused over said spell moments ago, seeing its high cast count.


Does the upgrade-based casting disqualify the trophy, making it constantly register both spells being manually cast or does it not count the upgrade-specific cast of Tax Collection?


If it's the former, i'll have to wait until next abdication to even attempt at getting the trophy, making sure to remember not to purchase the offending upgrade, which granted won't be particularly time-consuming nor difficult so much as incredibly inconvinient and honestly possibly a bit of an oversight.

Small edit: Just re-read the description, the gold-level upgrade casts free Tax Collection any time -any- spell is cast, not just Goblin's Greed. Still, my question stands since it's the one i need to cast, soley for the trophy.

That upgrade shouldn't prevent you from getting the trophy. As far as I know, it doesn't count against you.

No, the upgrade's free Tax Collections do not count. The Challenge only looks at Spells you or Autocast cast, and not Spells that Upgrade cast.
