How do i Reincarnate?

Hi to all.

Just wondering how (& when) i reincarnate?

I've Abdicated heaps of times & have 380.3Qi Gems atm, but i'm unsure about when or how i should reincarnate.

I'm currently playing as Faceless & going for the "Faceless Overmind: Affiliate with Faceless 5 times in a row" trophy.

Also, what does R1, R10 ect. mean?
I'm reading it mentioned a lot in the forums. Is it reincarnate 1, reincarnate 10 ect?

You need e27 (1 oc) gems to reincarnate, via the button with (???) on it.

First you have to unlock the prestige factions, starting by excavating to 200.

I've done 384 excavations so far.

Then you can unlock dwarf and drow and get the gems needed pretty easily

Well, are you at least to 1e19 gems yet? If so, unlock dwarves, as they are easier to obtain than drow if you choose Fairies. If not, then pick one of the neutral faction and use them until said point. From there, it's pretty easy. I prefer Fairy-Dwarf, but others usually say Elven-Dwarf. Either one works. And yes, R1 is reincarnation 1. I'm on R8 atm, and bloodlines at R7 is OP if you use it correctly.

Reincarnation just lit up but should i reincarnate as soon as it's possible?

Also wondering, do spells keep getting cast while ur offline?
I turned on the auto-casting, so i'm hoping while i'm offline spells will keep being cast.

I haven't unlocked dwarf or drow yet but i just got the "ally with faceless 5 times in a row" trophy.
I then quickly did the "cast love spell with 6 different factions" trophy.

I'm playing as goblins atm, & am going to play something else for a while, but i'll put Realm Grinder back on soon, when go to the other room to watch tv with wife.

You can't get the actual effects of spells offline, but the number of casts will go up for things that track that.

Hearts are gained regardless of spells being up.

The longer you've been casting the spell, the more hearts you get - but you keep getting the hearts even when you aren't casting.

If you have masterful autocasting or better, you get some activity time for any spells you leave on autocast while you're offline, and that will go towards the activity time for call to love. It's likely you haven't reached that yet, though. You should be able to get enough hearts to finish the event anyway.

Hearts are generated per second, regardless of spells being active. Online Hearts per second is determined by overall Call to Love Activity Time. Offline Hearts per second is determined by offline time during the Event.

That is, unless it's changed since I last checked it.

I just reincarnated my first time yesterday as soon as the button appeared, and it took my about 6 hours of semi-active play to get beck to the 1 OC gems (no money spent, but I do have 300k in heart upgrades at this point).

Trying to figure out the best faction(s) to start the new reincarnations is slowing me down a-lot, though once you get back up to the Qa/Qi in gems it speeds up considerably.

to answer your big question, and a bunch of other not-yet-asked questions, in your first reincarnation (which is technically R0), you should get all the heritages (buy all upgrades for each faction), get all the spell upgrades you can, or at least the ones for the factions you use most often (most of them are easy) and mop up as many building trophies as you can. before you reincarnate, you should "burn" all your excavations by doing one more run then dumping everything into excavations. you have a chance to get artifacts, and might get a ruby. apart from that, there is really nothing you NEED to do before moving to R1.
for future reference, the number displayed on the reincarnation button is the reincarnation you are in. there are also a few easy secret trophies to get
Rule Dis: abdicate 5 times within 10 minutes. just spam the abdicate button, you don't actually need to do anything in those abdications
Need a Head Start?: do absolutely nothing for 10 minutes at the start of a new abdication. grants a free upgrade that gives you 10 coins
Suggestion Master: leave the changelog open for 3 minutes (acsess the changelog by clicking the version number in th options menu)
don't worry, R1 is so much faster than R0. the game only gets more complicated from here.

So far i've got all of the heritages except for dwarfs.

The only secret trophy i had from those 3 mentioned is Need a Head Start?
I'll get the other 2 later 2day.

There's also glho kohhl snod (another super-easy secret trophy). Just past that into the import box, and import it.

I've got a super-duper in-depth guide over in the Guides section on here, that goes pretty in-depth on how to get Trophies and stuff, and it can be completed in about 24-30 hours, depending on your level of activeness (or longer, if you can't be on as much). It gets you a ton of Secret Trophies, and walks you through the unlocks for Factions and how to get to Reincarnation.
