50 Rubies
I'm a bit of a completionist and the 50 ruby trophy is one of the last ones that I'm missing and will probably be "locked out of" due to A2 until new content arrives.

I'm on R90 right now and already excavated the Veteran Figurine. I will probably get to R99 fairly quickly (relatively speaking). Before then, I wanted to know if it would be feasible to get all 50 rubies through only excavations or will I hit the coin cap first and break the game?

That's 63750 excavations.

Cost of last excavation will be 1.7e20 * 1.035^63750
It's 4.7*e972 diamond coins.

Game can only handle e308 coins, so it will definitely break.

TIL there is a 50 rubies trophy. Sorry for being not directly ontopic: is it "have 50 rubbies" or "collect 50 rubbies"?
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

You can see it in the Trophies screen. And it's "Gain 50 Rubies".

P.S. Currently you can't get more than 29 Rubies, but you will need to have both E290 and Easter Ancient Egg bonus to do this.

Ah thanks. Does this factor into account E290 and the easter excavation cost reduction? I find it hard to believe that the game developers created a trophy that you can't accomplish without paying cash for it.

Are you psychic? So is that particular trophy impossible without paying cash?

This is F2P game, so nothing special here. They need to give you some motivation for paying)

Eh, that's true I suppose. I just assumed that the things that require cash were quality of life things like timewarps/the gifts of whatever. Oh well, I guess I'll just get as many rubies as I can below e308 coins and then do A2.

Thanks for the help.

You can get up to 29 rubies from excavations ATM, as well as rubies from various events. Once A2 gets more content there will be more rubies avaliable.
Some events give free rubies too, so you CAN get this achievement without spending a penny on the game. In fact - I currently have 63 rubies and I've spend 3 for resetting excavation (wanted to get an artifact too bad) and I didn't even get all 29 from excavation.
So - stick around, participate in events, and you will get there, it just takes some time.

1) Rubies are earned at set Excavations amounts the first time you reach them, up to 29 total Rubies currenly.
2) Rubies can be earned through certain Events, such as the Christmas/New Year's Event, Valentine's, and Easter (at least, in all past incarnations of them).

Plenty of players have earned it through those two methods. The devs have announced that they will never make any content - especially unlocks and Trophies - locked behind a paywall.
