Sun Blessing question.
To unlock Sun Blessing trophy i gotta activate Moon Blessing once after 6AM and once more before 12PM?

I am asking because that's what i understand from the description.

But the description is to cast it after 6 am and before 12PM. The 'and' means both must be true when you cast it.so more like: cast it ( after 6 AM and before 12 PM)

I guess they just wanted to avoid using 'between' since that would have meant 2 possible ways to interpret the time in wich you can do it.

So no, you don't have to cast it twice, just once within these 6 hours of the day is enough.

i see, thank you Nico :) ,missed it today so i will do it tommorow.

Would it matter if its a fresh run?

The offending post was removed.

Please know that that counts as an exploit, and therefore, is against Steam rules, which all users agree to abide by in order to use Steam.

Hmmm, weird, I always thought that they did this on purpose, since it wouldn't have been any problem for them to use the server time for this, wich they even used for Sun Force, wich is very understandabke since there it really would count as an exploit, since you really could benefit from this, whereas with the unlocks it is just a very small benefit. And I thought they really wanted to rprevent that someone can'T get one of those trophies since maybe they really are never online during this time, wich especially could be true for the undead spell upgrade.

How do you know what counts as an exploit and what the devs did on purpose? Like that the
LS spell target cycles through when you just cast 1 spell tier one by one? OR that the spell duration resets when you were offline or import a save, wich was different some time ago?

I'm confused...

Im not sure if this was even established as an actual cheat - it would be dumb because there are several unlocks with inconvenient times that a player may not be able to play during (and are important for progress), and theres a reason why only events and sunforce use server time.

EDIT: for confused readers on this thread, moderator deleted numerous posts trying to explain him that he doesnt know what is an exploit, for the reason of 'sharing an exploit'

Sharing cheats is also against the Steam Community Guidelines. It is counted as an exploit because it abuses your ability to do something outside of the game to gain something within the game that the devs did not program in. Sometimes, the devs leave in exploits because there'd be too much of an outrage at people having the exploit taken away - sort of like when they seeded the RNG. When you manipulate something to gain something because the game's coding isn't designed against it, it's an exploit.

Please do not share it again.

You agree to the community guidelines of Steam when you sign up for Steam, and they specifically state:

I did explain how it is an exploit as best I could without revealing the exploit. I am not fearmongering, I am enforcing Steam guidelines on what can and cannot be posted.

You were asked not to share it. This is now a warning.

Honestly, there is no reason to cheat in this game even if the cheats are there.

I am just gonna take my time :)

Games like these are supposed to take time to finish.

That's not what an exploit is though. It has nothing to do with 'outside the game'. There are exploits in games where you just do something the developer didn't think of, or take advantage of a bug. 'Exploit' is about abusing something, getting an unfair advantage.

Whatever time of day you unlocked an upgrade, the end result is the same. You can't get anything unfair like extra offline time. What would be unfair would be expecting people to schedule their day around a little idle game or wake up in the middle of the night to unlock stuff.

It's not that "the game's coding isn't designed against it", the game's coding is designed to allow it. Unlocks are deliberately the only thing that doesn't use server time. The devs expect people to use it. It's not an exploit.

An exploit is, but not limited to, something that uses a flaw in programming to achieve things or progress, which is exactly what the exploit I removed from this conversation does. The developer has confirmed to me that this is an exploit, and has asked me to stand by my decision concerning it. Each deleted post contained the exploit, and that was the sole reason for their deletion.

It is not something the developer wants people to use, it's something they just haven't programmed a stop to yet, for reasons I am not going to get into here, as this is not what this thread is supposed to be discussing.

Please cease this conversation. Continuing it will result in the thread being locked.
