Earliest possible R for Stoic Resistance?

Currently at R22, going for No Recruiting (yes, I know I could do it in about 20 minutes at R30+, but that's still over 10-20h of active play away) and I'm aware that I need to get Stoic Resistance before ascending at R39.

What is the earliest possible point to get Stoic Resistance, and what's the ideal build for it? I find Dwelves carry me through to Ud/Dd gemcounts, but not on a single run 0.0

R30 is more or less a hard req, since you need prestige research unlocked for the research prod boost. Fairy/Dwarf is needed to get the production necessary for stoic mostly.

It's been done at R20, but it takes over a day without a decent Ruby boost.

As Necro said - Fairy Dwarfs is best for obtaining it, and it's recommended to wait until R30 to attempt it, as it becomes far faster then. However, it is possible before then, as you don't need Prestige Research unlocked - it only speeds it up by a massive amount.

It really does depend on how long you want to take to get the trophy.

Just finished today, R26. Took 9 days as Undead Drow.

I did it as a sort of break from the game, I do not recommend it if you want speed!

I also tried at R25, but realised 3 days in that the Demon Bloodline only affects gems (Titan is much better)...

I loaded a very old save because I didn't get stoic resistance before ascending, so I started again from R10 or so.

I got it with fairy / dwarf (fairy bloodline) in R29 in one day.

It can be done at R20 in roughly 24 hours. Is it advisable? No. R30 is the best place to try for it, because it's easy and fast, there.
