i skipped the challenges tutorial

as you all know, if you click too many times when the tutorial popup is on your screen, you will NEVER...EVER, see what it said, and you will be blind to what it told you to do FOREVER unless you do a hard reset. well i skipped the flipping CHALLENGES TUTORIAL! i now have NO CLUE what the hell challenges are and do and personally i HAVE to see every little tutorial text and i need to know exactly what it says or it will drive me insane, so when i skip tutorials on realm grinder i get TICKED, i will never see what it said and i will never know what to do. tl;dr, will someone explain challenges to me please?!?

Things to know about challenges:

1. The specific requirements for a challenge are listed in its associated tooltip.
   
2. When a challenge is complete, the associated reward will also be listed in the tooltip.
   
3. All challenges must be undertaken whilst affilated with the faction associated with the challenge.
   
4. Only the reward for the final challenge for a given faction is available to all factions.
   
5. The faction or factions to which the reward for an earlier challenge is available can be determined from the background colour of the challenge icon, and might not include the faction that undertook it.
   
6. The reward for a completed challenge can be deactivated by clicking the challenge icon.
   
7. Not all challenges can reasonably be completed in the reincarnation in which they become available; some are better left until later reincarnations.

thank you pseudonymous, also, what do you mean by "the faction or factions to which an earlier challenge is availible"? it's kind of a complicated sentence and i don't understand what you meant by that

It may be useful to know that the first demon challenge is one of those that's probably better left until a later reincarnation - specifically, R7.
