achievement: 500 assistants

Hi everybody, i've played for several months and i dont sucess to have 500 assistants ( to have stream achievement and game's trophies).
I'm R12, nearly R13. Have you some tips or builds to give me?

Try mercenary, align good, get mana regen and a couple other assistant merc abilities. The good alignment merc ability Holy Crusaders gives you assistants based on number of spells cast. Leave that going for a day or two.

I tried this kind of build, my party spent 23h, i've 230 assistants (and 690 with bonuses but it doesn"t count this figure). So I wonder what can i do wrong.

Get to R16 and unlock research phase.

Research phase is really usefull? ( I don't know it is ^^)

I have to use lightning forge until R16 ?( like discribed in this following link: http://realm-grinder.wikia.com/wiki/Merc_Builds)

waht does this artefact allow?

I'm starting to get interested by every tips but I don't know so much.

Only "permanent" assistants count, temporary ones from spells and such are ignored.

Don't worry about it to much though. 500 Assistants is nothing once you unlock research, and even less once you get Lineages. Hundreds of thousands of assistants is normal later on.

After getting both the Dusk Stone and Dawn Stone from excavations you can get an upgrade called Sun Force ( http://realm-grinder.wikia.com/wiki/Sun_Force ) that has different effects based on the time of day, one of which increases how many assistants you have based on the number of gems you have and with about 400vig gems you get about 1800-1900 assistants (and it did give me 2 assistant based trophies thanks to it), though the timeslot for it isn't that great for most people.

@ vlanoik: If by "timeslot" you mean time of the day when you can get those artifact by excavating - well, you can change your computer system time to whatever needed so it's not that hard. As for effects timing when you already have both artifacts - yes, it might be not really convenient as it runs on server time and can't be changed.
To OP: When you get Sun Force and if you can leave the game running overnight (or wherever needed effect takes place in your timezone) while you AFK - it would still work. Or simply don't worry about it too much - you will get all those achievements (Steam and in-game) sooner or later, very few of them really necessary for progression.

I don't know if the Op solved this yet, but I used the mana waste build "IGOT an Excess of Mana" which can be found under the special builds on http://realm-grinder.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_Base_Merc_Builds

The optimal time to do it is listed as R7-11 but that is for the mana waste trophy (which apparently can be done at R12+ but you need to not buy your reincarnation upgrade) it really doesn't take long. You set it up and let it run and get the assistant trophies as well as unlocking auto-casting, mana and spell cast trophies, a LOT faster than 23 hours.
