Titan's challenge 1

Without moving on to R5 for easier access to excevations, is there a quicker way of completting this challenge? I have a 66% find chance right now, and it feels like i'll have to sit on this for a week or more to get this challenge completed. A second question would be can I complete the challenges as as a merc, or do I need to play as the said faction?

This one is super easy, have 13x exhanges to the assistant count.
1 assistant, have 13 exchanges.
2 assistants, buy 26 exchanges.

I dont remember when you get the + assistants per reincarnation, but you can literally pick and choose your upgrades, foregoing assistant upgrades so you have a controlled number.

also: all the challenges (save for maybe that faceless one) are easier to just do before reincarnating, when you have the most gem power to accomplish it.

I have no idea if challenges can be done as mercs,....

I understand what you have to do, i was just wondering if, since the Titans faction coin gains is pretty ♥♥♥♥ compaired to other factions, if there was a faster way for me to do it at this point without just reincarnating again. That way i have 0 excavations again since getting excavations at this point in my current reincarnation is a slow process.

I found Titans had a good FC gain compared to several factions....
and you need only a handful of FC to afford 13 exchanges...., that's like not even 3 exchanges per faction... (assuming you only have 1 assistant)
my suggestion:

abdicate: Grab the assistant squasher achievement, have 1 assistant, collect what? 200 faction coins? and get the challenge done. 13 Exchanges should be easily obtained.
I think I got this challenge done in less than 2 minutes after abdication, and without assistant squasher.

extra note:(My opinion on how easy it is to get faction coins with titans is skewed because of the special bonus you get when you complete all the challenges).

EDIT: if getting something like 200 faction coins to purchase 13 exchanges is a lot of work for you, then sure, go reincarnate to refresh your excavations.

So when the challenge says "you need a minimum of 13", it wasn't saying you need a minimum of 13 assistants to do it?

So when the challenge says "you need a minimum of 13", it wasn't saying you need a minimum of 13 assistants to do it?

I see the ambiguity now. I am quite sure its exchanges, though all I remember is that it was a very easy challenge. A simple check would clarify, without needing to reincarnate. I've been so absorbed with R46 and getting the bloody dragons that i dont remember 3 weeks or so ago when i was around R5.

Lightning Strike should cover the FC for the exchanges needed very easily.

I must admit this looks like a weird discussion.
For example: Titans are actually the BEST faction to get fc thanks to their spell.
And yes, the minimum of 13 are the assistants. Just be careful when buying the building upgrades and it should be easy to hit 13, and then 169 RE's should be easy too, thanks to LS.
