Beard Carpet

I'm doing the last bit of cleaning up before going into Ascension 2 and Beard Carpet is the last trophy I need to do. I'm just wondering A) if the Drow Lineage Perk 1 will speed up this trophy and B) if the trophy can be achieved as Mercenaries with the Bearded Assistants upgrade (as opposed to pure x/Dwarf faction).

Yes, it can be gained as mercs. And it usually is really easy to do while tiering up some other spells without having to waste additional time for it.
And about Drow perk 1 I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think so.

It would have made sense to do it with spell tiers and I'm kicking myself for not having done so. Also, I think you're right about the Drow perk since it doesn't seem to be going any quicker with the perk. At least I can do the trophy as mercs without worrying it won't count though.

It must be actual time spent, the Drow Perk doesn't affect it at all.
