Can't unlock the dwarves anymore

So with I finally got the option to unlock the Dwarves, but not the money. So I started over, but the option never showed up again, I thought it was because I needed more money, but still nothing. I'm stuck with 8/9 unlocked.

Are you using Good alignment? Dwarf unlock will only show up with Fairy, Angel, Elf.

You need 200 excavations, but with 8/9 I assume you did the excavations and unlocked Drow already. edit: on second thought that would be 9 or 10/11.

Wait, to get to Dwarf you have to go Fairy ? I thought they were Neutral

nope. Dwarves are good, Drow are evil, Dragon are neutral

Ooooh okay, so there are more races than I thought.
I thought it was:

Good:
- Fairies
- Elves
- Angels

Bad:
- Demons
- Goblins
- Undeads

Neutral:
- Titans
- Druids
- Dwarves

If not, how is it then ?

Just any Good Faction. If you have already unlocked them, then you have to buy the base Factuon's third FC ipgrasd before the treaty will appear, and you need to have bought Underworld Diplomacy for the coind as well, if you're before R3.

And to clear up one leftover point: the third neutral base faction are the faceless.

You will need to purchase ethe Underworld Diplomacy every run until R3 to generate their Faction Coins, probably what you are thinking of.

dwarves (similar to drow and dragons) are prestige faction. they are "extension" to existing ones. it means that if you play any good aligment faction you can then join the dwarves (so you would have 2 fastions any good+ dwarves). same goes for drow and evil factions and dragon with neutral factions

Yeah, Dwarves and Drow are called Prestige factions and they basically improve one of the vanilla(the first 6) factions. There also is a Prestige faction for neutral but this one comes much much later.

dwarves are really a Super-class for good :)

as you can tell, the neutral factions are quite a bit stronger than good/evil. but the prestige factions add an additional 3 tiers worth of upgrades along with a new faction spell to make the vanilla factions more powerful. they also have their own set of challenges and researches, along with stuff like secret trophies and artifacts.

And so the 3rd Neutral and the "Super-Neutral" are both unlocked by digging ?

well, yes the third neutral faction is also unlocked by digging out the quest artifacts and figuring out what the hints on them means to find their unlock requirement.
I mean, the Titans with their 300 Halls of Legends and the Druids with their 1M faction coins are really easy to figure out. And when you know what a sun dial is it also should be easy to figure out the last one.

and the Neutral Prestige also will have a quest artifact to dig up, but as I said you will probably still need to play at least a month probably more to get there, so don't worry about them yet.
