Does this game have 4 player local split screen?

Is that still true? Asking since the store has a screenshot showing 4 player splitscreen. Would be a bit of trouble getting that many controllers plugged in since I can't do wireless on PC, but would be annoyed if that is console only since I just got it here.

I have been playing 3 player just fine.. including on my 9 foot projector screen :)

Each mode is available in single-player, four-player split-screen and eight-player online, while Time Trial is single-player only.

yes it is four-player split-screen on PC.

do you need controllers hooked up to play split screen? I can't add any players at all
