I got the Logitech G920 to work on Windows 10. This is a mouthful but I wanted to get everything I know of into writing now without any picture aid. This is written to hold your hand as much as humanly possible so I am very pedantic. Anyway, here's the steps:

~~ SET UP LG HUB ~~ (do this once)

*. Install LG Hub at this link: https://download01.logi.com/web/ftp/pub/techsupport/gaming/lghub_installer.exe
* Open LG Hub.
* If the wheel is plugged in correctly, it should appear in the center of the screen.
* Click on "Active Profile" in the top center.
* Scroll right in the list of existing games, choose "Add Game or Application."
* Add "HotshotRacing.exe" to the list (is probably located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Hotshot Racing).
* Click on Hotshot Racing in the list of games. A notification should say "Hotshot Racing is now active."
* Close LG Hub by right-clicking on the icon in the Start menu tray, then click "Quit."

~~ SET UP X360CE ~~ (do this once)

* Install x360ce at this link: https://www.x360ce.com/files/x360ce.zip
* Extract x360ce.exe to My Documents, Desktop, etc., it doesn't really matter.
* Open x360ce.exe.
* Click "+Add Game" in the upper right corner.
* Add "HotshotRacing.exe" to the list (is probably located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Hotshot Racing)
* Click on the "Game" tab, select "HotshotRacing.exe." "HotshotRacing.exe" should appear in the "Game" dropdown menu.
* Click on "Controller 1" tab.
* Click on "+Add..." button.
* Check off any instances of "Logitech G HUB G920 Driving Force Racing Wheel USB" and click "Add Selected Device."
* Check off "Enable X Mapped Devices"
* Close x360ce.

~~ CONFIGURE INPUTS IN LG HUB ~~ (do this every time you want to tweak inputs)

* In LG Hub, you can configure: wheel rotation, wheel sensitivity, pedal sensitivity, and any non-wheel/pedal input.
* Open LG Hub, click on "Active Profile" at the top center, choose Hotshot Racing in the list, click X to go back.
* Click on the G920 wheel in the center of the screen.
* BEFORE CONTINUING, MAKE SURE THAT THE UPPER LEFT HAS THE "HOTSHOTRACING" PROFILE SELECTED.
* ALSO MAKE SURE THAT IN THE BOTTOM CENTER, THAT "DEFAULT" IS SELECTED INSTEAD OF "G-SHIFT."

* Click the box icon with the plus sign in the upper left.
* Click on various parts of the wheel to configure their inputs:
* A = Enter
* B = Esc
* X = Tab
* Y = Down
* D-Pad Up = Up
* D-Pad Down = Down
* D-Pad Left = Left
* D-Pad Right = Right
* Left Shift Pedal = Q
* Right Shift Pedal = E
* Both "Start" Buttons = Start
* Both "Back" Buttons = Esc
* Xbox Button = Ctrl
* Click on the arrow on the right side of the wheel to access the gear shifter (if you have one).
* Every Gear = Shift (to boost)

* Click the wheel icon in the upper left.
* Set "Wheel Operating Range" to whatever you feel comfortable with, such as 360.
* Set "Sensitivity" to 50.
* Set "Centering Spring Strength" to 0.
* Check off the "Centering Spring in Non Force Feedback Games" box.

* Click on the pedal icon in the upper left.
* Set Clutch, Brake, and Accelerator to 50% (if it isn't already).

* Feel free to come back and configure these are you like.

~~ CONFIGURE INPUTS IN X360CE ~~ (do this every time you want to tweak inputs)

* In x360ce, you can configure: wheel, gas pedal, brake pedal, wheel dead zone, wheel anti-dead zone, pedal dead zone, pedal anti-dead zone.
* Open x360ce, click on the "Games" tab, select "HotshotRacing.exe." "HotshotRacing.exe" should appear in the "Game" dropdown menu.
* Click on the Controller 1 tab.
* Click on each instance of "Logitech G Hub 920..." and find the one that does NOT say "- Offline" in the "Direct Input" tab below. Select that wheel instance. If all instances say "- Offline", try closing x360ce, unplugging and replugging in the USB wheel, open LG Hub if it's not already open, then reopen x360ce and repeat these steps.

* Select the "General" tab to configure the wheel and pedals.
* Set Left Stick Axis X to "Axis 1"
* Set Right Trigger to "IAxis 2"
* Set Left Trigger to "IAxis 6" (use brake pedal for brake) OR click "[Record]" and press the clutch pedal down to set it to "ISlider 1" (use clutch pedal for brake).

* Select the "Triggers" tab to configure the pedal settings.
* Set "Anti-Dead Zone" next to Left Trigger to 33%.
* Set "Anti-Dead Zone" next to Right Trigger to 33%.
* Leave everything else at 0%.

* Select the "Left Stick" tab to configure the wheel settings:
* Set "Anti-Dead Zone" next to X-Horizontal Axis to 25%.
* Leave everything else at 0%.

* NOTE that Hotshot Racing already has dead zones applied to 25% joystick and 33% triggers by default, so by setting the anti-dead zones to those settings, it creates a seamless steering and pedal experience. :) Feel free to tweak this when driving more sensitive cars like the Diamond Back and the Eagle.
* Click the "Save All" button in the upper-right corner.

~~ STARTING HOTSHOT RACING ~~ (do this every time you want to play the game)

* Make sure that LGHub and x360ce aren't open by checking the Start menu tray. Right-click and choose Quit/Exit on both if any of them are open.
* Make sure that the Logitech G920 Wheel is plugged in to both the PC (via USB) and the power outlet.
* Open x360ce, click on the "Games" tab, click on "HotshotRacing.exe" in the list. The wheel should tense up when that happens.
* Click the "Controller 1" tab.
* Click the "Triggers" tab and make sure that both Anti-Dead Zones are set to 33% (x360ce resets itself a lot).
* Click on the "Left Stick" tab and make sure that the X-Axis Anti-Dead Zone is set to 25% (again, x360ce resets itself a lot).
* Minimize (don't close) x360ce.
* Open LG Hub, click "Active Profile" in top center, click Hotshot Racing, click X to go back.
* Click on the G920 wheel.
* The wheel should loosen up. Check if the wheel rotates at the range you have set. If it doesn't, click on the wheel icon in the upper right, set "Operating Range" to something else, then back to your intended range.
* Click X in upper right to minimize LG Hub.
* Open Hotshot Racing.
* Enjoy the game. :)

~~ FAQ/TROUBLESHOOTING ~~

[[The wheel doesn't appear in LG Hub.]]
* Try closing LG Hub and x360ce via right-click in the Windows start tray, unplug and replug in the wheel USB, open LG Hub, verify that the wheel appears.
* Also make sure that the wheel's power cord is plugged in.
* Close both LG Hub and x360ce again.

[[The pedals don't work in-game.]]
* Don't close Hotshot Racing.
* Click on the x360ce icon in the Start menu tray to open it. If it's not open, then open x360ce (haha).
* Click on the "Games" tab, verify that HotshotRacing.exe is selected (this is important!).
* Minimize x360ce.
* If the wheel operating range is incorrect, right-click on LG Hub in the Start menu tray (if it's open), click "Quit," reopen LG Hub, choose Hotshot Racing, click X to go back, click G920 wheel, click wheel icon in upper right, set the operating range to whatever you want.
* Click X in upper right to minimize LG Hub.
* Resume playing Hotshot Racing.

[[The wheel became uncentered/unaligned because I jerked too hard.]]
* Don't close Hotshot Racing.
* Right-click on the LG Hub icon in the Start menu tray, click "Quit."
* Re-open LG Hub.
* Click "Active Profile," choose Hotshot Racing, click X to go back, click on G920 wheel, click on the wheel icon in upper left, change operating range to whatever you want.
* Click X to minimize LG Hub.
* Resume playing Hotshot Racing.

[[The game resets my wheel operating range to 900 degrees before every race.]]
* Start a new race.
* Pause game before countdown.
* Click on the LG Hub icon in the Start menu tray.
* Click the Hotshot Racing profile if it's not already selected, click X to go back.
* Click the G920 wheel, click the wheel icon in the upper left, set operating range to something else, then set it to the desired range.
* The wheel should move at the desired range.
* Resume playing Hotshot Racing.
* This bug should happen if you do the above tasks out of order upon starting up Hotshot Racing.

[[I got stuck in the track select screen.]]
* This can rarely occur when alternating between steering wheel/keyboard/mouse input so just take extra caution in those screens to select what you want without mashing multiple buttons.
* If this happens, close and reopen Hotshot Racing.

[[I can't fire an explosive barrel, change views during replays, change my car parts, etc.]]
* I haven't tested these controls out with new modes so you'll have to change the input slightly to fire barrels.
* It's preferable that you use the mouse if you want to modify the cars in the menus.
* The Xbox button should change cameras during replays. For some reason, X will work fine during races, but not during replays, which is what the Xbox button is for.

[[Can I set up another wheel (Logitech or non-Logitech) this way?]]
* I don't know--I haven't tried tbh, but the goal should be the same--open x360ce first to lock in the wheel/pedals, then open LG Hub (or your wheel hardware app) to lock in the wheel sensitivity and keyboard inputs.

[[Can I play multiplayer with a wheel and joystick/another wheel?]]
* Possibly, but I haven't tried it yet myself.

[[I have another question you didn't answer.]]
* Fire away and I'll do my best.

Thank you. That (eventually) worked. I had an issue showing in x360ce that said something about a virtual driver needed installing for emulation to work. I clicked to install it and it worked there after.
