I hope it's not as bad as mario kart 64's (or gran turismo 3 arcade mode's).
I get it, thanks. And that's not so cool, if people (seem to) generally agree it sucks and they don't want it, why would they use it. So the race can stay competitive for longer if you are really good? More chances for cool collisions? Oh well...
Have you ever played Mario Kart? Or Sonic all-stars tranformed? If it's implemented well enough you won't even notice it. again, even gran turismo 3 had rubber banding ai.

EDIT: Just tried out the game, yes there's rubber banding AI (as expected from an ARCADE), but nothing too severe. Definitively not as bad as mario kart's.
I don't think I played any of those, thx for the links I'll check those out.
"Problem" is the slipstream, which is really strong, so the opponents simply push each other forward. The resulting destruction derby is more of an issue in my opinion.
