Can you turn off the timer?

Playing this on Epic for free. I don't understand the point of this timer that keeps making me start over. Seems like a really stupid gimmick to me. Is there any way to turn it off in a config file or something? I'm not going to bother continuing with the game if it keeps making me start over every 60 seconds.

This "really stupid gimmick" is very fun and a little challenging mechanics what makes Minit very satisfying. BTW. Minit name comes from 1 "minute" gameplay so do you want to steal the identity of MInit ?

I dunno, there is barely any point to that feature. I would enjoy it more as a regular metroidvania without the timer. It just doesn't really add anything.

Go in the settings, turn "vegetarian mode" on and off over and over until you hear a sound effect, you should have unlocked a timerless mode
