Question..

Hello guys, yesterday I bought this game and now I have 4 crew. The first battle I was allowed to fight with all 4 but a few battles later there were only 3 crew?.
No-one died so I don't understand why in one battle I fight with 4 crew and the next with 3?

Help me out here, TIA!!

The only way I know of to lose a crew member aside from death, is either to "dismiss" them to the Great Hall (which only removes them from your ship...maybe check there under "Your Vikings"), or if you Exile them--but you are prompted before doing this since it's permanent. It'd be pretty hard to do accidentally.

If you haven't launched the game since the last session in which you lost a crew member, you could back up the debug log file...maybe there's a way you can get it to the devs for review. To access the log file, rIght click on the game title in your library and select "Properties". Select "Local Files" tab and click "Browse Local Files". Go into the irontides_Data folder and in there you'll find a debug log called output_log.txt. BUT...it gets overwritten every time you restart the game.

On a side note, I've got 65 hours into this game at present, and I've not had an issue like this. So, if it is a bug, it must be a rather rare occurence.

Ah, you mean that there were only 3 spots open to fight with? It really depends on the map size and the composition of the fight. Sometimes there are more or less than 4. It can be pretty cool fighting on a more open map with 5.

What the developer wrote is right. But what I don't like in that case is the fact you cannot choose which caracter doesn't fight. The game decides that for you: not good!
