Help Please

How do you fix the ship/car/sails when it is broken?. My sails got hit by lighting an the ship was on fire it put out the fire but cant find how to fix the sails any help would be appreciated. thanks guys

You need to play further. You will get an upgrade that allows repairs.

i literally got the repair tool in the first 45 mins of the game. Wow you really didn't play this long.

I've picked up everything I've found, but nothing seems to be a repair tool.

My engine and sail were both broken down by the time I got across the bridge, and I've "kept playing" dragging the vehicle for ages until I got stuck needing to go uphill in the rain against the wind and I can't drag it further.

What did I miss? Where was the repair tool?

Nevermind, I found a video and I guess the repair tool is just a bit further and I'm soft locked and can't get there.

Not really sure what I did wrong, maybe I was punished for stopping to pick too many things up?
